Setting Up Your Email in Windows xp (Outlook 6) Mail

Solution The following instructions are specifically for Microsoft's Outlook Express. Most e-mail programs use a similar process to configure an e-mail account.

1- From the Tools menu, choose E-mail Accounts.

2- In the Internet Accounts window that opens, click "Add" then click "Mail"

3- Enter your name the way you want it to be shown to people you send e-mails to. Then click "Next."

4- Enter your e-mail address Ex: john@yourdomain.com. Then click "Next."

5- Make sure POP3 is selected. For incoming (POP3) mail, enter mail.yourdomain.com

outgoing mail server SMTP is: mail.yourdomain.com

outgoing mail server SMTP (TEdata ADSL or Dial up 07777777 ) is: smtp.tedata.net.eg Then click "Next."

6- In the "Account name" field enter the full e-mail address for the mail account you created, For example, if you created an account named "john" you should enter john@yourdomain.com. Also enter the password you set up for that account. Click "Next."

7- In the next screen click "Finish" and you're done.
